Floor Marking with Paint:
The Straight Line 1000™ uses two rolls of standard masking tape to simultaneously apply parallel borders quickly and easily from a standing position.
Line width can be adjusted anywhere from 1 inch to 8 inches to accurately produce standard line widths.
The machine’s wide wheel-base, soft rubber wheels and added weight (almost 40 pounds) assure even pressure to the tape for excellent adhesion on a variety of surfaces to guarantee virtually NO bleed-through and easy removal of the tape after painting.
The Straight Line 1000™ is designed to be used by ONE person without strenuous work on the knees. This adds additional value by reducing workers compensation claims and increasing worker safety.
After accurately masking the proper aisle width, a single person is able to quickly, easily and accurately use a standard 4-inch paint roller to create clear, crisp and durable aisle markings for fork lift lanes, convention center pathways and hospital aisles.
The Straight Line 1000™ also can be used to apply vinyl safety tape if temporary striping is required in your facility.
Q: Does the Straight Line 1000 use standard tape or do I have to order special sizes or tape from a specific manufacturer?
A: The Straight Line 1000 uses standard 2 inch masking tape. Optional adapters are available for the application of standard OSHA safety tapes up to 4 inch width.
Q: How long is delivery time?
A: Typically 1 weeks.
Q: How does the integrated chalk line anchor eliminate the need for two people when applying the tape?
A: The chalk line anchor makes it possible for one individual to attach and anchor the chalk line at the base of the machine, and then to walk it to the desired end-point to snap the chalk line. There is no need for a partner to hold the chalk line in the appropriate spot.
Q: What options are available for the Straight Line 1000?
A: The base model comes equipped with nearly all of the features discusssed in this site. The only available option for the machine is an extension that enables the application of 4 inch OSHA safety tape. This extension costs $50 and can be selected at the main order page.

Colored vinyl tapes are usually good for floor marking tapes but there are some areas that demand anti slip tape for worker safety. Our anti slip tapes are easy to apply and when you use our anti slip tapes, your safety concerns will go down, but your family or employees won't.
Floor Marking Tape can be used on the floor just like tape or
paint, but with a number of important differences. Unlike tape,
it has a release backing that is removed before applying. Because
of this, Floor Mark does not stretch and curl. Floor marking tape
is thinner than traditional tape so it does not snag as easily
and holds up to fork lift traffic better. Floor Mark tape can
be removed by applying heat, unlike paint that requires harsh
chemicals.
